Their story.
Award-winning, positive reinforcement dog training in Preston and Penwortham
The Canine Coven is Lydia Brown's dog training business in Preston, with puppy classes in Penwortham and classes in Preston city centre, built on more than a decade working with dogs in grooming, kennels, veterinary practices and daycare.
Training is positive reinforcement and evidence based, focused on confidence, calm and the bond between dogs and their owners rather than rigid obedience. Lydia runs group classes, workshops, one to one and online training for puppies and adult dogs, including a Life Skills Programme, adolescent classes and help with nerves and reactivity.
In 2026 she was named Dog Trainer of the Year for Lancashire and Best Dog Trainer in Preston, among a string of business awards.
